This is a prime location and I am willing to rent it at a good price if you are willing to indulge the presence of my cat - a 10 yr old, good natured, that sleeps 24/7. Most of the time you will not even know he is there, or even be able to wake him....literally... For a short stay (a few days) he will require no care at all on your part - maybe a fresh bowl of water once. For a longer stay (3-4 days) I have a catsitter that would stop in 1-2x to do anything required for cat. If you love animals, want to experience a gorgeous San Francisco neighborhood at a fraction the cost of any decent hotel, and hate tourist traps this is a great deal. About the space (additional pictures available): Modern decor - clean lines - all furniture fairly new 1 bedroom (fairly compact w/ a queen bed - this is the city!). Closet space. Bedding, towels, provided. 1 bath; shower/bathtub, pedestal sink, space for toiletries in vanity Living room (couch, 2 arm chairs, dining table + 4 chairs) and full kitchen - furnished and fully decorated. Cable, high speed wireles internet, 2 televisions, stereo, DVD player, microwave, alarm clock, land line. Neighborhood - Quiet and quaint - one of the few streets you'll find a lot of single family homes (so parking isn't as bad as some other neighborhoods in the city). Walking distance to Union, Polk, and Fillmore Streets. 5 minute cab ride to downtown/Union Square/Financial District. Close to Presidio, Fisherman's Wharf, Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, China Town, North Beach. Street parking available. Laundromat/dry cleaner, post office, hospital, neighborhood market, various restaurants/cafes, movie theaters, hardware stores, etc... in neighborhood. Requirements for anyone interested in renting; -I am only interest in responsible people who have excellent references. I will check references, require copies of identification, and expect full payment in cash or paypal in advance of stay/receiving keys. -I live in a quiet building with neighbors who keep to themselves. If you are not 100% capable of maintaining a reasonable level of noise day and night, without question, there is no need to respond. I have a neighbor that will notify me if there was any serious problem and you would be asked to leave immediately. -I will ask for a 100% refundable security deposit that will be returned if everything is as it was left. I expect my property, furniture, etc.. to be treated respectfully. No entertaining, no parties, no outside guests, no smoking, no burning candles. -If you are a big partier or do drugs, no need to respond -If you are a smoker you will have to committ to smoking outside the apartment & building 100% of time - absolutely no exceptions -This space is appropiate for 1 or 2 persons only. I am not too familiar with SF yet but I have a new job in the Lower Pacific Heights area. I do not plan on renting out the living room. About me: I am my 30's but have a very young feel on life. I am very responsible, clean but not a freak about it, respectful, meaning I wont slam cabinet or front door while you are sleeping, (silly I know but have lived with others who dont think of anyone else), witty, adventurous, loves to dance, has alot of friends back in Memphis where I am from, open-minded, warm, friendly, social yet private, loyal, trustworthy, not afraid to speak my mind, can find the humor in most anything, down to Earth, unique and just down right cool. I am a massage therapist, just leaving my current job of being a therapist and also managing a large group of therapists, to my new job in SF as Manager at a Massage based place. I like to chill at home, cook, surf the net, watch movies, dinner parties, have a coctail but not someone who drinks alot nor is a drunk, I dont drink wine but like to wine taste in Napa once in a while, Ive taken Hot Air Balloon ride over Napa, Been to Sac for Blue Man group & Murder Mystery Dinner & SF to Ruby Skye to dance off the work week. I am easy to get along with because I respect boundaries and others privacy. I currently live with a friend from Memphis who is in the Airforce. Ive been his roomie for almost 2 years, the roomie before him was for 3 years and the roomie before that for 5 years. I do have a dog so please be some kind of animal lover. She is almost 10 years old, lab mix with a little bit of a diva attitude. She is loving & friendly. She is NOT an excessive barker (I hate that) and has been potty trained since she was about 3 weeks old. She is also a great watchdog. (I love that) She does not chew things, nor pilfer thru the garbage. She loves to lay around but is still very playful. About you: Please have decent credit to pass credit check, steady income and be able to provide proof of that, good references and enough income to afford at least $700-1000 a month including the fees to move in. On a personal level, please be tidy, prefer non-smoker as I am trying to quit, I dont mind 420 and please be looking for a home and not just a place to rent and trash. I also dont like people over everyday of the week but I certainly dont mind we have our friends over for dinner parties or drinks or playing some Taboo or Cranium. I also have a friend or 2 that comes to visit from Memphis and they usually stay with me for a few days. They are like me, respectful and friendly. I am not the kind of person who has their significant other spending the night every night and neither should you. please. I would like to live with someone who has their own life but someone I could have diner with a beer with and become friends. It really makes the dynamic of living together really nice. Stuff: I sold my belongings to move out here but I do have a couple of nice small rod iron tables and will be slowly buying nice furniture. So I hope you have some stuff for us to sit on. lol I wil be working on that. If we find 3 bedroom I plan on buying things pretty quick. My taste is very modern. Timing: My absolute deadline to move to SF from Fairfield is Nov 1 since that is when my roomie lease is up here but I would possibly like to shoot for October 1. Hello, I am a 10 year resident of SF in the Biotech industry, and have a very charming, fully decorated 1 bedroom apartment in Pacific Heights that I am renting for short stays while I'm away on various travels. Various dates are currently available: If you are visiting San Francisco, and interested in being in a quaint neighborhood that is walking distance to the Fillmore St (Pac Hts) , Union St (Cow Hollow), Polk St (Russian Hill), and the Presidio you will enjoy this enclave in the heart of the city. This is a prime location and I am willing to rent it at a good price if you are willing to indulge the presence of my cat - a 10 yr old, good natured, that sleeps 24/7. Most of the time you will not even know he is there, or even be able to wake him....literally... For a short stay (a few days) he will require no care at all on your part - maybe a fresh bowl of water once. For a longer stay (3-4 days) I have a catsitter that would stop in 1-2x to do anything required for cat. If you love animals, want to experience a gorgeous San Francisco neighborhood at a fraction the cost of any decent hotel, and hate tourist traps this is a great deal. Various dates are currently open thru the fall, including the week of September 15-19, Oct 1-3. About the space (additional pictures available): Modern decor - clean lines - all furniture fairly new 1 bedroom (fairly compact w/ a queen bed - this is the city!). Closet space. Bedding, towels, provided. 1 bath; shower/bathtub, pedestal sink, space for toiletries in vanity Living room (couch, 2 arm chairs, dining table + 4 chairs) and full kitchen - furnished and fully decorated. Cable, high speed wireles internet, 2 televisions, stereo, DVD player, microwave, alarm clock, land line. Neighborhood - Quiet and quaint - one of the few streets you'll find a lot of single family homes (so parking isn't as bad as some other neighborhoods in the city). Walking distance to Union, Polk, and Fillmore Streets. 5 minute cab ride to downtown/Union Square/Financial District. Close to Presidio, Fisherman's Wharf, Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, China Town, North Beach. Street parking available. Laundromat/dry cleaner, post office, hospital, neighborhood market, various restaurants/cafes, movie theaters, hardware stores, etc... in neighborhood. Requirements for anyone interested in renting; -I am only interest in responsible people who have excellent references. I will check references, require copies of identification, and expect full payment in cash or paypal in advance of stay/receiving keys. -I live in a quiet building with neighbors who keep to themselves. If you are not 100% capable of maintaining a reasonable level of noise day and night, without question, there is no need to respond. I have a neighbor that will notify me if there was any serious problem and you would be asked to leave immediately. -I will ask for a 100% refundable security deposit that will be returned if everything is as it was left. I expect my property, furniture, etc.. to be treated respectfully. No entertaining, no parties, no outside guests, no smoking, no burning candles. -If you are a big partier or do drugs, no need to respond -If you are a smoker you will have to committ to smoking outside the apartment & building 100% of time - absolutely no exceptions -This space is appropiate for 1 or 2 persons only. No parties or entertaining in the building. Cost: $120 US/night. $50 - Non-refundable cleaning/laundry fee wil be included $200 (depending on length of stay) security deposit will be returned in FULL (100%) if the apartment/property has no damage, anything missing, keys returned, etc...
