The house has 4 bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms (unfortunately while we do have a bath tub, its best for our downstairs neighbors if we stick to showers). We've got amazing views from both our back porch and the flat top roof deck outside Richie's bedroom. The house is seriously huge with living room, "dining" room, and kitchen, and tons of storage space. There's a gas stove, Internet, and cable. We've got everything from carpeting, hardwood floors, tiled floors and lovely linoleum. We do have a back yard, but out of respect for the creatures and plants growing in the jungle, we pretty much leave it alone so as not to disturb their natural habitat. However, if you've got a green thumb and time to do something with it, have at it. The room that's opening up is the biggest in the house, on the main floor off the kitchen and has great views of downtown and our neighbor’s backyards. It's carpeted with a decent size closet. Our home is furnished but definitely in need of a facelift, so if you've got stuff, we've got room. We all work fairly early, so we're not late nighters most of the time, having said that... we have been known to have more than our share of late nights (in and out of the home), although as we get older nights seem to be getting earlier and earlier. We are a 420 friendly home and also enjoy our evening cocktails and nightcaps, as well as occasional dinners together at home. Most importantly to all of us, we love that we have a real home here, with people that we genuinely like. We'd like to find someone to whom those things are also important. We are: Richie, the elder statesman of the house (5 years?), REALLY nice guy, social worker, awesome taste in music, loves to read and recommend and share. He's a vegetarian who lives mainly off of English muffins, cheese, bananas and berries, all of which he buys weekly at the Noe Valley farmer's market. Originally from the land of Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen, Richie really loves having spontaneous dance parties in the dining room with... Kate, an ex-baker by trade, recent professional diaper changer, current kindergarten teacher (who still changes the occasional diaper), rarely cooks at home but LOVES being cooked for. New to the meat eating process, will eat anything. Also an east coast native, she's been in the house for 3 years and has lived in two of the rooms (but slept in all). Kate watches too much TV, is broke as fuck, falls asleep reading every night with the light on, loves brunch and exploring the beaches north of the golden gate bridge. The newest member of our household, Steph, is totally hot, an artist/stationary peddlar, totally hot, marathon runner, totally hot, party girl who does NOT bring the party home, totally hot. She hails from San Jose but most recently came from Portland, and is totally hot. Kate is teaching her how to bake and one day she may teach Kate how to play a song on the piano.
